RAILROAD SPIKE KNIFE

$85.00

Forge a custom knife made from a railroad spike in this hands-on knife manufacturing lesson. Minimum age for this is 13. We may require previous blacksmithing experience if you are under the age of 18. All in all a very special experience.

HORSESHOE KNIFE

$50.00

Aspiring blacksmiths at least 9 years of age can take this lesson. You get to craft yourself a custom knife made from a horseshoe. You’ll work with a metal working expert who will help you every step of the way as you create your own unique souvenir.

PONY SHOE

$35.00

Start off with a smaller knife for your first hands-on blacksmithing lesson. Learn the basics of iron forging while you create your own custom knife out of a pony shoe. A guided, small-group lesson led by an expert blacksmith will help you through every step of the process.

NAIL KNIFE

$20.00

For the youngest blacksmithing enthusiasts, this lesson is only for those 5-12 years old. An introduction into the world of metal working for the youngest visitors as they craft a knife from a The forging lesson is supervised by experienced blacksmiths in a safe environment.

A Great Experience to say the least! If I could have gave more stars I would have. I understand and know steels. So I did pick their brain some on the steels. They had the right answers. It was a pleasure making my first knife. I choose the railroad spike. It tuned out beautiful and a very user friendly. The spikes are made just for these guys and it has a higher carbon content. It will hold an edge and will be easier to sharpen. I recommend, if you are into this kind of thing please give these guys a try. You want be disappointed. I’ll definitely bring my son in laws next time. Awesome job you all. Experience of a life time. Bobby

This is a genuinely great experience for all ages--the staff was just great with my 7yo, and I also had a great time. Very safe and very hands-on at the same time! Highly recommend this absolutely unique experience!

Amazing I would give it 10 stars if I could! The staff here were all great to work with! We were able to pound out our own knives.. We had the pleasant surprise to meet Robby Bowman. He was willing to tell us great tips for forging and got to see his beautiful knifes he made.

We had a large group (11 of us) ranging from ages 7-50. None of us had ever done anything like it before and it was a HUGE hit with everyone! I have 6 kids (ages 7, 8, 10, 12, 14, & 16) and all of them said it was their favorite part of spring break!
