RAILROAD SPIKE KNIFE

$85.00

Forge a custom knife made from a railroad spike in this hands-on knife manufacturing lesson. Minimum age for this is 13. We may require previous blacksmithing experience if you are under the age of 18. All in all a very special experience.

HORSESHOE KNIFE

$50.00

Aspiring blacksmiths of all ages can take this lesson. You get to craft yourself a custom knife made from a horseshoe. You’ll work with a metal working expert who will help you every step of the way as you create your own unique souvenir.

PONY SHOE

$35.00

Start off with a smaller knife for your first hands-on blacksmithing lesson. Learn the basics of iron forging while you create your own custom knife out of a pony shoe. A guided, small-group lesson led by an expert blacksmith will help you through every step of the process.

NAIL KNIFE

$20.00

For the youngest blacksmithing enthusiasts, this lesson is only for those 5-12 years old. An introduction into the world of metal working for the youngest visitors as they craft a knife from a The forging lesson is supervised by experienced blacksmiths in a safe environment.

Thank you folks for taking the time to do this, I was finally able to get the chance to see if this is the hobby I wanted to get into. It only took two swings of that hammer for me to see this was for me. Ever since I got out the Army I have struggled to find out who I am again and just what I want to do. The whole team was so kind in answering my questions as well as even getting to meet Mr. Bowman himself! Thank you all for encouraging me to do this and helping me find a positive outlet to better myself and heal. This is all money well spent and time, as well as the money I am about to invest in equipment lol. Woooooo!!!!

I’ve watched literally episode of Forged in Fire, many of them more than once. When I discovered that Robbie Bowman offered bladesmithing experiences, I jumped all over it. I made a spike knife, and my two sons (aged 10 and 11) made horseshoe knives. We realize that railroad spikes and horseshoes aren’t the greatest knife steel, but we were all thrilled with our first time smacking red hot steel into real, useable knives. My boys took it VERY seriously, and they’re already begging to make spike knives as soon as they’re old enough. They have both been carrying them and inspecting them non-stop since we left the shop. Instead of walking through Ripley’s or Wonderworks for the 10th time, give knife forging a try. It was a magical experience, and I guarantee my sons will never forget it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amazing I would give it 10 stars if I could! The staff here were all great to work with! We were able to pound out our own knives.. We had the pleasant surprise to meet Robby Bowman. He was willing to tell us great tips for forging and got to see his beautiful knifes he made.

Went there with my son and nephew. Once we all held and saw the railroad spike knife we had to have it not only did we all make one, but had a blast doing it! It was an amazing time, we plan on coming back to vacation again, here next year …More
